I am an Assistant Professor at the Central Department of Management, Tribhuvan University, Nepal. I also serve as a member of the Academic Board of the Joint International PhD Program in Human Rights, Society, and Multi-level Governance at the University of Padova, Italy, where I have been invited as a Visiting Professor in 2017, 2019, 2022, and 2024.
In addition to my academic roles, I actively collaborate with the private sector, non-governmental organizations, and government institutions in Nepal, providing consulting, training, and research services aimed at strengthening institutional capacity and promoting sound policy development.
My teaching, research, and consulting interests include microfinance, financial inclusion, green banking, corporate finance, capital markets, and investments.
I was honored with the South Asian Emerging Scholar Award 2024 at the Bharat–Nepal Friendship Summit. I also serve as the President of the Central Department of Management (TU) Alumni Association.

I have conducted over 200 trainings, workshops, and seminars on various academic and corporate topics tofaculty, students, social servants, bankers, central bankers and professionals nationally and internationally. Ihave also served as a keynote speaker and session chair in more than 10 national and internationalconferences.
Academic Supervision
I serve as an academic advisor and research supervisor, guiding a diverse cohort of students in advanced study areas in Nepal and Italy. Besides master degree students, I am currently supervising four Ph.D. students at Tribhuvan University and far-western University, Nepal. One of my co-supervised students has already got PhD award entitled “Migration and Remittance Inflow in Nepal” from Faculty of Humanities and Social Science, Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu, Nepal in 2025.
