Dr. Prakash Kumar Gautam is a Nepali academic, researcher, and management educator specializing in strategic management, organizational behavior, and business research. He has been associated with higher education, management research, and professional training for many years. His academic and research work focuses particularly on organizational culture, human capital, training and motivation, innovative work behavior, leadership, entrepreneurship, and employee stress. Dr. Gautam is also involved in research supervision, academic development, conference activities, and scholarly peer review. 

Dr. Gautam holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Management from Tribhuvan University. His doctoral research examined the role of organizational culture in employees' innovative work behavior, with particular attention to workplace social support and creative self-efficacy. He is also an MPhil Gold Medalist specializing in Management from the Faculty of Management, TU.

Dr. Gautam currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Strategic Management, Organizational Behavior, and Business Research Methods. He is the MBA Program Director at the Central Department of Management. He served as Program Coordinator for the Nurturing Excellence of Higher Education Program (NEHEP) at Tribhuvan University for four years. He has been engaged in training university faculty, professionals, business personnel, and students in different domains. In addition to university teaching, his professional experience includes management responsibilities in private and public-sector organizations. He is also involved in scholarly peer review for research journals.

Dr. Gautam has a broad research portfolio including the relationship between people, organizations, and performance. His major areas of research include organizational culture and behavior, training motivation and effectiveness, strategic management, leadership and employee commitment, entrepreneurship and SME development, workplace social support and employee performance. He has published several articles in peer-reviewed journals, including Scimago Indexed and ABDC-ranked journals. He has presented his work at various national and international conferences. He is also a peer reviewer in many high-ranked Scimago Indexed journals.
